The jewels and the workman

During one of my photo sprees I was hunting for reflections. Just when I was thinking to abandon my search, a van stopped in front of a jewellery shop, some workmen got off and began to inspect the pavement.

The shop window reflected their activities perfectly and I liked the contrast between the luxury inside and the simplicity of the coarse working clothes and movements of the men outside. An additional bonus for me is that the spotlights of the shopwindow seem to illuminate the workman.

    1. Thank you, Hammad. With street photography having patience is crucial. Last week it had rained and there was this beautiful puddle around the tram rails. It took me quite some pictures of people passing that puddle before I was content. I will post the picture one of these days. In the meantime, have fun!
