During one of my photo sprees I was hunting for reflections. Just when I was thinking to abandon my search, a van stopped in front of a jewellery shop, some workmen got off and began to inspect the pavement.
The shop window reflected their activities perfectly and I liked the contrast between the luxury inside and the simplicity of the coarse working clothes and movements of the men outside. An additional bonus for me is that the spotlights of the shopwindow seem to illuminate the workman.

When I am roaming the streets with my camera, I hope to find a story in a nutshell, that is: one picture. For me this is the story of labour migration and when I saw these men, I did not know whether to laugh or to cry.
